Craig is an experienced environmental engineer and team leader in the water infrastructure sector. Craig’s role at PDP as a Technical Director provides oversight and guidance to both clients and internal teams to produce solid outcomes. A background of regional government, local government and consulting means Craig knows how to listen, placing him in an ideal position to understand client needs.
As manager, Craig uses both design and people skills to lead the projects from inception through to completion. Craig has additional experience in the area of resilience planning due to working to implement improved SW infrastructure after the impacts of Cyclone Gabrielle.
Craig has controlled and managed many projects involving client interactions, Mana Whenua journeying and professional colleague leading, to complete complex design and regulatory conditions to the client’s satisfaction. As well as operating at a management level, Craig has still been able to be “hands on” with projects and has a good understanding of physical work requirements for investigation and construction works with a good record in health and safety and environmental compliance.
