Pattle Delamore Partners (PDP) is looking for an experienced Civil Digital Drafter to join our Tauranga office. We’re ideally seeking someone with 5+ years’ experience, but we’d also love to hear from talented Intermediate Designers (3+ years) ready for their next challenge.

About the role

Working alongside our Water Infrastructure and Geotechnical teams, you’ll produce digital models and engineering drawings across a wide range of civil infrastructure projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Civil design and modelling using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Preparing engineering drawings, plans and construction documentation.
  • Collaborating with engineers and project managers from concept through to detailed design.
  • Maintaining high-quality digital deliverables and CAD standards.
  • Supporting continuous improvement of our digital design capability.

About you

You’ll bring:

  • Ideally 5+ years’ experience (or 3+ years for Intermediate applicants) in civil drafting within a consulting environment.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Strong AutoCAD Civil 3D skills; experience with Revit, Navisworks or Plant 3D is an advantage.
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
