Environmental Geologist / Scientist – Contaminated Land

We are looking for someone with a degree in Geology, Geography or Environmental Science (with a focus on environmental chemistry and/or geology and/or hydrogeology) looking to kick off their career. You will be working across a variety of projects, mentored by the best in class. You will part of our Foundation for Success graduate program to continue your development as a technical pro and leader. 

About the Role

  • Complete Preliminary Site Investigations: sites commonly investigated include petroleum facilities, commercial/industrial/residential land, asbestos-contaminated land, and landfills;
  • Undertake detailed Site Investigations including the preparation of health and safety documentation and obtaining environmental samples (e.g., of soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, and asbestos);
  • Analyse results, assess environmental data, and develop conceptual site models; 
  • Determine the requirement for, and the supervision of site remediation work; 
  • Write technical reports;
  • Business travel will be required on occasion (including overnight stays).
