Finance Business Partner

About the role

As a key partner to senior management reporting to the CFO, you will work closely with business units across the organisation to shape financial strategies and ensure commercial success. This is an opportunity to influence key decisions, drive performance, and contribute to the future growth of PDP.

• Financial Analysis: Provide detailed financial analysis to assess the performance of business initiatives and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with departments to develop and monitor budgets and forecasts, offering insights and explanations for variances.
• Business Strategy: Work with senior management to support the development and execution of business strategies through financial expertise and guidance.
• Commercial Decision Support: Evaluate financial viability for new business ventures, products, and services, and support commercial negotiations with financial insights.
• Relationship Management: Build strong working relationships with internal teams and stakeholders to align financial goals with business objectives.
• Performance Measurement: Develop KPIs to monitor and assess the performance of commercial initiatives and projects.
• Risk Management: Identify and address financial and operational risks, providing recommendations to mitigate them and optimise business performance.

What you’ll bring

• CA Certification (or recognised equivalent) with strong financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting experience.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to develop trusted relationships and influence senior management.
• An ability to simplify complex financial data for non-financial stakeholders.
• A solutions-focused approach with a passion for driving continuous improvement and innovation in business processes.
