Technical Director – Water Quality

About the Role
- Lead and grow stormwater and surface water consultancy services, including business development and client engagement.
- Build relationships with clients, regulators, and stakeholders while collaborating with hydrology and hydrogeology teams.
- Oversee project delivery, including stormwater quality, environmental assessments, and remediation projects, ensuring quality and profitability.
- Manage workflows, billing, and risk processes, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and technical standards.
- Deliver end-to-end solutions, from initial client discussions to project completion.
- Applying company policies in health and safety, quality, administration and technical procedures.
What You’ll Bring
- A strong reputation in the water resource services market and a desire for ongoing professional growth.
- Proven commercial acumen, excellent communication skills, and a broad scientific foundation.
- Expertise in technical reporting, data analysis, client negotiations, and team leadership.
- A proactive, team-oriented approach with a willingness to travel and work in remote locations within New Zealand.
