Lizzie is an Ecologist with over 13 years of experience across the aviation, transport, and wider infrastructure sectors. She has worked as an independent ecological consultant, as well as in operational roles including Airfield Manager, Wildlife and Grounds Manager, and Safety Officer.
She is an experienced project manager with strong technical expertise in terrestrial ecology, specialising in avifauna, ecological impact assessments, wildlife and pest management planning, human–wildlife conflict, and landscape review. Lizzie has particular expertise in managing wildlife risk and integrating ecological principles into infrastructure design, construction, and operations.
She has a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practice, and has delivered projects across New Zealand for airport operators, infrastructure providers, and public sector clients. She specialises in developing practical, risk-based solutions within complex environments, ensuring that ecological and operational outcomes are effectively balanced.
