Our History

In 1986, in response to growing environmental awareness in New Zealand, our visionary founders, Alan Pattle and Keith Delamore, established Pattle Delamore Partners (PDP) to deliver consulting services in groundwater and engineering geology.

The discovery of a significant hydrocarbon spill in Auckland in 1987 led to the beginning of the contaminated land industry in New Zealand and the subsequent evolution of PDP’s comprehensive environmental service offering.

From our humble beginnings, we have grown into one of Aotearoa, New Zealand’s leading environmental science, engineering, and advisory consultancies. We deeply care about our environment and aspire to work in ways that meet today’s needs while providing for future generations.
