Owen is an air quality specialist with over 15 years’ experience delivering practical advice across New Zealand. His background is in air quality science, monitoring, and regulation, and he has led multi-disciplinary teams on complex investigations, regional monitoring programmes, resource consent applications, and policy analysis.
Owen’s experience includes assessments for industrial and manufacturing facilities, transport infrastructure, waste operations, quarrying, data centres, home heating, and outdoor burning. He helps clients understand and manage air quality risks in a clear, pragmatic, and defensible way.
With experience in both central and local government, Owen has a strong understanding of how air quality legislation is developed and applied in practice. He champions clear science communication and works closely with clients to support sound environmental outcomes.
