Air Discharge Consents for Concrete Batching Facilities in Northland
PDP supported Firth with air discharge consents for two ready-mix concrete plants in Dargaville and Mangawhai. Drawing on our Planning and Air Quality teams, we carried out on-site air quality assessments and prepared the resource consent applications for submission to Northland Regional Council. The batching process at each site includes handling sand, aggregate, and cement to produce concrete for the local market. These facilities are key to meeting local construction demands and supporting regional economic growth. Thanks to thorough technical inputs and early engagement, both consents were granted for 35 years on a non-notified basis, with no additional information requested. This outcome reflects PDP’s practical, end-to-end support to help clients like Firth meet compliance needs efficiently and with confidence.
