Far North District Council | Three-Waters Strategic Asset Management 

We supported Far North District Council in strengthening their approach to three-waters asset management by developing a clear, ISO 55000-aligned framework to guide long-term planning and investment.

Our work included:

• Completing an asset management maturity assessment to benchmarkcurrent practice against ISO 55000, identify capability gaps, and developa practical three-year improvement roadmap;
• Drafting an organisational Asset Management Policy that is fit-for-purpose and aligned with ISO 55000 principles; and
• Designing an overarching asset management framework byconsolidating existing materials to minimise rework and supplementingwith good-practice guidance and professional expertise.
• Creating a Strategic Asset Management Plan that links Council’sorganisational objectives with three-waters asset management. Theplan sets long-term direction, integrates lifecycle planning and riskmanagement, and guides future investment decisions in line with ISO55000.
