Napier City Council engaged PDP to provide technical advice for their maintenance dredging of the Napier Inner Harbour. The Inner Harbour is an important navigational channel for vessels of various sizes, from pleasure craft to large fishing trawlers, and at time, requires dredging to provide safe navigable channels. Following Cyclone Gabrielle and typical sediment accretion from the surrounding catchment, the Council planned dredging to coincide with the dredge vessel being available in Napier.
