Tauranga City Council – Spaces and Places Asset Management Plan Peer Review
PDP undertook a peer review of the Tauranga City Council Draft Spaces and Places Asset Management Plan (AMP) including reserves and open spaces, street trees, marine facilities and coastal structures, cemeteries, and the Mount Maunganui Beachside Holiday Park.
Our scope of work included:
- Co-developing assessment criteria tailored to Tauranga City Council’s specific context;
- Assessing alignment with good practice, including ISO 55000 and the Āpōpō Guide;
- Evaluating climate risk and resilience, interdependencies with natural assets, and integration of mātauranga Māori and te ao Māori principles; and,
- Delivering a targeted improvement plan with specific recommendations to strengthen future iterations of the Asset Management Plan.
