Visualisation & Communication of Data

PDP specialises in designing user-friendly platforms and websites that effectively communicate scientific, social, and economic information to diverse public and industry clients. We leverage cutting-edge geospatial tools and thoughtful design principles to present complex data clearly and accessibly, prioritising the user experience. When building our interactive platforms, we carefully consider language, graphics, intuitive navigation, and other design elements to resonate with varied user groups, ensuring the information is both informative and approachable.

PDP developed a geospatial website to communicate information about Specified Development Projects (SDPs) for Kāinga Ora to the public.

Built using Esri’s ArcGIS Hub and optimised for both mobile and desktop, the website features interactive maps, detailed program statuses, and contextual data.

Beyond its immediate use, this platform highlights our ability to:

  • Translate Complex Data: Transforming detailed technical information into formats accessible to both experts and non-experts.
  • Engage Through Design: Utilising user-friendly interfaces, visuals, and interactive elements to captivate and educate audiences.
  • Enable Informed Decision-Making: Providing tools and visualisations that empower users to explore data and derive insights independently.

Whether creating public-facing tools or internal client dashboards, our approach combines geospatial expertise, innovative design, and a deep commitment to user-centric communication. These platforms enable better understanding, collaboration, and decision-making across industries and communities.
