Our Three Waters services sector includes local and regional councils.
Key challenges facing this sector include ageing infrastructure, historical under-investment, a number of wastewater plants to be reconsented, source water contamination, higher public expectations and resilience needed for impacts of climate change.
Our technical capabilities support cost-effective water supply, wastewater discharge and stormwater management and treatment solutions, including source selection, compliance monitoring, concept/detailed design and commissioning. Our team also offers sewerage infrastructure development, trade waste management, and supporting services such as planning, environmental impact assessments and consent submissions.

Lake Ōkāreka
PDP was engaged by Bay of Plenty Regional Council (BoPRC) to provide advice on upgrading the Lake Ōkāreka outlet following a period of consistently high lake levels.
Three Water Infrastructure Revaluation FY2022/23 & FY 2023/24
PDP were engaged by Napier City Council (NCC) in FY2022/23, and again in FY2023/24, to undertake an independent revaluation of their three-waters infrastructure assets, valued at a total replacement cost of approximately $1.5 billion.
